🔇 Noise
Quiet hours are mandatory between 11:00PM/23:00 and 7:00AM.
Loud music, parties, or behavior that disturbs us, other guests or our neighbors is not permitted at any time of day.
Repeated violations of noise rules may result in immediate termination of the accommodation agreement.
⚠️ In the event of a serious infraction, the property manager reserves the right to contact the relevant authorities without prior notice.
🚭 Smoking
Smoking is PROHIBITED indoors.
Please smoke in areas that are a minimum of 4 meters from any window or doorway.
If other guests complain, please be respectful and smoke outside the entrance to the quinta.
Please dispose of extinguished cigarette butts in the ash pails provided.
Violations of these rules may result in immediate termination of the accommodation agreement. Additional cleaning fees may apply.
🗑️ Rubbish & Waste
Within Quinta Esmeralda please place the rubbish and recycling in their respective receptacles.
Please do NOT leave discarded items in corridors, outside doorways, in stairways, or common areas.
Bins are located across the street to the left of Arões Sports Park. Waste must be sorted into their corresponding recycling GREY containers: unsoiled paper/cardboard (BLUE), plastic/metal/tetra pak (YELLOW), glass (GREEN) and general waste (DARK GREEN).
Used cooking oil must be disposed of in the labeled, sealed glass jars under the sink — NEVER pour it directly down the drain.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK REGARDING POOL
Guest(s) fully understands and acknowledges that swimming pool use involves inherent risks, including but not limited to:
1. Drowning or near-drowning, including risks greater for non-swimmers and children;
2. Slipping, falling, or injury on pool edge, steps, or surrounding surfaces;
3. Diving injuries, including serious spinal cord injuries or paralysis;
4. Physical injury resulting from pool equipment, sports equipment, or floatation devices;
5. Adverse health reactions to pool chemicals (chlorine, etc.);
6. Injury due to pool use at night or in adverse weather conditions.
POOL RULES & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
Guest(s) agrees to comply with all of the following pool rules at all times:
7. NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY. All pool use is unsupervised and entirely at the Guest's own risk.
8. Guest(s) 17 years and under must be accompanied and actively supervised by a responsible adult (18+) at all times while in or near the pool. For safety and sanitary reasons, young children, toddlers and infants are not permitted in the pool.
9. No diving or jumping from shallow end; no running on or near the pool edge.
10. No swimming under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any medication that impairs judgment or physical ability.
11. To help us keep the water clean and perfectly balanced for everyone, we kindly ask that all guests shower thoroughly prior to entering the pool. Please do not use the pool with open wounds, infections, or communicable illnesses. Thank you so much for helping us maintain a fresh, healthy pool!
12. No glass items, breakable items, or sharp objects in or near the pool area.
13. Pool is to be used only during designated hours (subject to change) communicated by the Host.
14. Non-swimmers and weak swimmers must wear a CE-certified personal flotation device (compliant with EN ISO 12402 or equivalent EU standard).
15. Booker and Guest(s) accept full responsibility for the safety and supervision of all minors in their party.
